Who can be a GreenBest customer?
In the UK GreenBest supplies distributors, wholesalers, contractors and consultants including lawn care professionals.
We work hard to protect the interests of our existing customers. If you are an end-user interested in our products and services, we can usually direct you to a local distributor to help.
Other arrangements exist in international markets - please contact us for more information.
Do you offer credit terms?
Yes various credit terms are available. Terms will be arranged with you as part of the new customer application process.
Where is your price list? Can you send me a price list?
We do not issue a standard price list because it is always too limited - We make to order every time! Please contact us for your quote. We will maintain your price list as your business with GreenBest develops.
How do I order / get a quote?
Simply get in touch with us by phone, email or fax. We prefer the final order to be in the form of an emailed purchase order but this is not essential. Remember to clearly specifiy the product you require including grade, size and quantity and provide clear delivery instructions. You will receive a Sales Acknowledgment confirming your order - please check this carefully to ensure your order is correct.

Do you supply (any N-P-K analysis)
Yes, if it can be made, we are very likely to be able to make it for you. But it doesn’t stop there, the quality and effectiveness of your product is of utmost importance to us. We will work closely with you to make sure the product we provide is the best solution for you.
Do you have a fertiliser like (any branded product)
Yes, with the exception of herbicides we regularly provide equivalents to fertiliser products from other fertiliser manufacturers, and can formulate new products exactly to your specification.
With no minimum order you will find we really can provide a cost effective alternative to your usual supplier.
Do you supply fertiliser for grass, vineyards, date palms…(any crop)
We can supply or replicate almost any nutrient product.
Do you supply inorganic fertilisers / chemical fertilisers?
Yes many of our products are made from mineral or synthetic raw materials. The ‘chemicals’ are usually simple salts, plant nutrients that are found in nature. Often these are by-products of another industry and all are produced to a high specification suitable for agriculture.
Do you supply organic fertilisers?
The term organic fertiliser is used to describe material derived from plant or animal matter, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is accredited for use by organic producers. Typically organic fertilisers provide a slow release of balanced nutrients. Their use can stimulate soil bacteria and natural soil eco-systems. We use a large range of organic fertilisers in our products including seaweed, chicken and poultry manure, molasses, blood, bone and more. Blended products vary from being totally organic, organic based or mineral based with an organic boost.
How do I know what fertiliser I need?
Please give us a call or drop us an email. We are happy to help and will work with you to find your ideal product. We can even provide soil testing analysis with complimentary interpretation.
Should I use liquid fertilisers or granular fertilisers?
Liquid fertilisers have the advantage of extremely rapid nutrient uptake providing a faster response in the plant. Liquid fertiliser application provides means of applying very even coverage.
However, they can only deliver relatively small amounts of nutrient in a “little and often” way.
This makes liquid fertilisers ideal for addressing specific issues such as nutrient deficiencies or providing a rapid boost to plant health for green-up or stress resistance for example.
Usually a good programme will include regular base feeds of granular fertilisers interspersed with liquid fertiliser top ups.
Can you make a fertiliser product that is exclusive to me?
We might be able to make a unique formulation for you, we can certainly make an exclusive product for you with your name, brand and label on the packaging.
We don’t offer exclusivity on formulations because it is usually impossible to protect the formulation itself.
With thousands and thousands of product options available and bespoke own-brand packaging it is easy to create a product that you can truly call your own.
How do you specify the granule size of your fertiliser?
We typically supply our fertiliser in a number of carefully screened ‘grades’ from Fine (like sand) to Mini (1-2mm), Graded (2-3mm) and Ag Grade (2-4mm).
What grade of fertiliser should I use on Golf Tees?
‘Mini’ grade (1 - 2mm) is ideal. Many tees are cut quite short these days and the greenkeeper will be happier with the smaller granule which disperses evenly and effectively penetrates the sward.
What grade of fertiliser is best for football pitches or rugby pitches?
‘Graded’ 2-3mm is usually suitable for fertiliser applications on a rugby or football pitch. Contact us for advice on your application.
Can I have my own brand fertiliser ?
Yes this what we are all about. We will help you build a brand that you own. We will use your logo, brand and details on the labels on the bags.
We provide a bespoke label for all of our standard packaging as part of our standard service.
I don’t need an own-brand can I have a standard label?
Of course, depending on the market we may be able to offer the GreenBest brand, a generic brand or unbranded packaging.
I would love to have my own bag design, is that possible?
Yes, no problem, we do this regularly for our customers. You can send us your design or we can design a few options for you to choose from. Bag printing is subject to a minimum run of 5000 20kg or 25kg bags so your annual fertiliser requirement will affect your decision.
What pack sizes do you offer?
We are completely adaptable to our customers’ needs so we have capability to pack anything from 10gms through to 1000 kgs. We regularly pack 1kg, 5kg, 10kg, 20kg, 25kg, 500kg, 600kg, 1000kg and 500ml, 1L, 5L, 10L, 20L, 25L, 200L and 1000L.
What delivery methods do you use?
We ship via a range of methods according to need such as parcel courier, pallet networks, dedicated lorries, shipping containers, air freight and occasionally bulk.
Will you deliver to my country? We deliver almost anywhere in the world. We have huge experience in the UK, mainland EU and further afield such as the ME, Africa and Australasia. Please get in touch if you would like more information.
Can I have a tail lift delivery?
Yes the majority of our deliveries under 6 tonnes, are transported on The Pallet Network. Vehicles with a tail lift are available at every depot. To be certain of a tail-lift delivery please request this with your order.
How much can I get on a pallet?
If it is to be offloaded by a tail-lift then the legal weight maximum is currently 1000kg (the transport industry is taking steps to reduce this to 750kg).
If a fork lift is available at the delivery site then we can load a maximum of 1200kg per pallet.
Some packaging options may not allow us to safely pack to the maximum weight limit, bulky or mixed liquid containers for example. In which case the order will be split across extra pallets as efficiently as possible.
You will always be advised of the shipping cost when you place your order, or on your order acknowledgment.
Access for delivery is limited to my site / can I request a 7.5 tonne lorry?
Please provide clear instructions with your order and we will work to accommodate your request.
Can you do split pallets?
Yes we can! If you would like your products stacked in a particular way please let us know when placing your order.
Can the delivery driver leave my order in the shed, garage, porch, driveway, back yard…?
The Pallet Network delivery drivers are only under obligation (and insured for) offloading from the vehicle to the kerb side.
Please make sure you have suitable access and space available for the delivery. We will pass any instructions you give us to the delivering depot but please be aware that we or our hauliers may not be able to fulfil every request for reasons including safety and security.

Can I request AM morning delivery?
Yes, generally the earliest available time slot is 10am. There may be an additional charge for this service.
Can I request delivery on a specific day?
Yes, there is usually an additional charge for next-day and Saurday delivery.
Can I get a delivery with a fork lift on the lorry (Moffett)?
Yes we can arrange this but the cost can be quite high as there are now very few available in the UK. It is usually only financially feasible over 10 tonnes.
What is the Book-In Service delivery option?
This is our standard delivery service that offers the greatest flexibility and convenience to our customers. Your order will be despatched from our site to your local delivery depot. They will then call you directly to arrange a suitable date for delivery.
Can I track my order?

Can I request a phone call before delivery?
Please provide clear instructions with your order and we pass these to the delivery company.
My order hasn’t arrived yet, where is my order?
Please contact us at any point and we will get back to you with the latest information.
Why didn’t I receive a phone call from the delivery driver?
We know this can happen on occasion when a phone call has been requested. Please let us know so we can check on your delivery and report back to the delivery company.
My order has arrived damaged, how will you sort this out?
Please sign for the goods as damaged and get in touch with us as soon as possible. If the damage is discovered after they have been received please take a photo and get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity. We will replace or refund any goods that have been damaged in transit.
I want my customer to believe the order is delivered from us, won’t they see your paperwork?
A large proportion of our business works like this – the paper work that accompanies the delivery does not include our details.
What are your current lead times
We maintain very low lead times (usually 4-10 working days) however they can vary depending on the time of year and the nature of the order.
To get an idea of how long your order will take please ask a member of the team to advise you at the earliest opportunity.
Do you hold stock items? How much do you have in stock?
Our bespoke service means that we make most products to order, however, in busy periods we often hold seasonally relevant products in stock to allow quick despatch and delivery.
